A couple days ago, I'm in the corner store in the hood, and I'm buying my Megamillions, which currently stands at a paltry $100mm+.

I buy one $1 ticket, because I figure if the Good Lord really, really wants me to win, all I need is one ticket.

Anyway, I make mention of those who spend lots of money on tickets and the guy behind the counter tells me that the numbers who bet a *lot* of cash on these things are many. He says it's not uncommon to see people from the hood walk in an plop down $100.
